Dog Boarding
I started offering this service when I saw there wasn’t an alternative for traditional kennel boarding in the area. I hated the idea of my dogs being locked in a cage the whole time I was out of town. I didn’t want to bother the neighbors, and I didn’t trust many people to watch my dogs. So I’ve opened up my home for your pup, so you and your pup don’t have to be stuck in that situation either!
Dogs that stay here are welcomed in as part of the family. This means that they have the run of the house and fenced-in yard. They are free to play in the yard to their heart’s content, or lounge around inside on one of the many dog beds we have available.
During feeding times, dogs are always separated. Whether it’s in their crates or behind baby gates, each dog gets their own space to eat their food in peace. We don’t want any arguments or dogs worrying that another dog will take their delicious meal! After each meal, we also implement a mandatory rest time before playing again. This allows the food to start moving down the digestive tract, hopefully eliminating risk of bloat. This mandatory rest period is at least one hour.
At night, each dog has his/her own XL crate to sleep in. This ensures each dog is safe when I can’t supervise. To make your dog more comfortable, you are more than welcome to bring blankets, t-shirts, beds, etc. (As long as the pup won’t chew it up and eat it!) I also have extra blankets available, but your dog will appreciate yours with the smell of home on it! :)
Pick up and drop off times vary daily and are flexible to your schedule.
