Hi I'm Cassie!
I am the owner and founder of Paws at Home Pet Care. I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, fish, and even geckos! I gained a lot of experience just growing up around these animals, and I think I always knew I wanted to work with animals when I got older. I loved caring for them and making sure they lived their best lives possible.
I started professionally pet sitting on the side in 2018, while teaching second grade. It was during this time that I fell in love with the idea of caring for animals full- time. I couldn't imagine a more fulfilling job. I wanted to be someone that the community could lean on and trust to care for their animals the same way they would. So in 2022, with the support of those around me, I made the difficult decision to leave the classroom and begin pet care full time. And it has been THE BEST decision!!
Since starting, I've worked with hundreds of pets- dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats, geckos, fish, you name it! I love learning about each new animal and what they like to do and what makes them happy. I take pride in giving professional level care for each and every animal I meet. I ensure that they are loved on, cared for, and safe while their families are away.
