Sponsor a walk for a dog in the shelter!
Dogs stay in the shelter for about month, on average, before they are adopted, some even longer. The workers and volunteers at these shelters work day and night to care for these pups, but they still need help!
Our sponsorships are a great way to do that. Maybe you don’t have the time to dedicate to fostering or volunteering, but you still want to help. Now you have another option to offer your help and support: sponsored walks! Our sponsorships are designed to help these shelter pups cope with the stress of their time in the kennel, and to help them develop the skills to thrive in their new homes.
Our trained, professional staff are working with PCAPS to take one of their pups out on an adventure to a local park, where we’ll focus on enrichment and decompression through a “sniffari” style walk, mental games, and exploration. We’ll then return the pup to PCAPS feeling fulfilled and refreshed.
These sponsored walks have many benefits for the shelter and their pups:
1. It gives the pup an exciting and enriching experience outside of their usual kennel routine.
2. It can provide the shelter valuable information about each pup that will help them place the pup in the perfect forever home.
3. It produces social media exposure to help the pup get connected with their future family.
